Setup steps
Step 1: Enable Developer Options
- Go to Settings on your Fire TV, then My Fire TV (some models call it Device Options).
- No Developer Options entry? Open About, highlight your device name and press the select button 7 times, then return to the previous menu.
- Select Developer Options and switch ADB Debugging on.
Step 2: Get the Downloader app
- From the home screen, open Find > Search and look up Downloader.
- Install it, then open it once so it is ready.
Step 3: Allow Downloader to install apps
- Back in Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options, open Install unknown apps.
- Switch it on for Downloader. Older Fire TV models show a single Apps from Unknown Sources switch instead: turn that on.
Step 4: Download an IPTV player
- In Downloader, enter code 395800 for Hot Player or code 923441 for IBO Player Pro, then press Go.
- Choose Install when asked, and open the player once it finishes.
Step 5, option 1: Configure Hot Player
- Launch Hot Player on your Fire TV. Its first screen shows a MAC address: keep it in view.
- From a phone or computer, visit hotplayer.app/upload and log in with that MAC address.

- Under Source, keep Link and paste the M3U URL from your welcome email. Prefer Xtream Code? Pick it and fill in your Username, Password and URL + PORT instead.
- Set Playlist name to HoxyTV.

- Click Save, then close and reopen Hot Player on the Fire TV to load your channels.
Step 5, option 2: Configure IBO Player Pro
- Launch IBO Player Pro on your Fire TV. It shows two things you need: a MAC address and a device key.
- From a phone or computer, visit iboplayer.com/device/login, enter both and solve the captcha.

- Click Add playlist, set Playlist name to HoxyTV and put your M3U URL in Playlist URL.

- Click Save, then close and reopen IBO Player Pro on the Fire TV.
You're All Set!
Your Fire TV now plays HoxyTV. If something is not right, the answers below cover the usual fixes.
Troubleshooting on Fire TV
Downloader will not install the player. What is wrong?
Downloader needs permission to install apps: check Install unknown apps under Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options. If the Fire TV is nearly full, free up some storage, then enter the code again.
My playlist shows no channels or fails to load. How do I fix it?
Copy the M3U URL from your welcome email again, all of it, and paste it once more. Make sure you logged in with the MAC address on your screen (and for IBO Player Pro, its device key too), then reopen the app. Still empty? Message our support team.
Channels keep buffering or freezing. What helps?
Buffering nearly always comes from the internet connection, not the app. On a Fire TV, 5 GHz Wi-Fi or an Ethernet adapter gives the steadiest picture. Switching the router and the device off and on again helps too, and 4K needs a steady 25 Mbps or more.
